Based in the West Midlands (All originating from in and around Telford) Son Of Zebedee are a band who defy being stereotyped into any genre. The influences of each member are so wide and varied that this can be heard in the varied songs the band has composed - They are the "Voice Of A Small Market Town"
Although the name may give the impression S.O.Z are not a religeous band, more fans of The Magic Roundabout but a name is just a name, the listener makes of it what they will!
They take the music seriously but enjoy having a laugh with it and with life in general, showing the guys have a sense of humour in this ever increasing serious state.
With Bens piano based musings, Leighs haunting guitar lines, James deep bass patterns and Marks driving beats S.O.Z. are a treat for your ears.
From the bluesgrass style "The One They Call Kelly", the folky tastes of "You Know You're Just Like Nigel Nigel" and "Whiskey 360" to the hypnotic "Fire And The Fall" (and many more) there will be something for all crowds.
